You need to come proud and strong and ready to be challenged because the year after that is your 1st year of middle school. Writings will be more exciting and in Social Studies you'll go all the way from where you left off in 4th grade and go all the way to where we are today. You will such an interesting time. Exspecially if you get Mr. Reyes. He was my 1st boy teacher but he is totally awesome and fun. He is also number 1. Be prepared for games and stuff to since this is your last year of elementary school. 5th grade fun day is just fro 5th grade where you can enjoy yourself at the end of the year. And for the 4th grades, you know how you had to take science and social studies pass test. In 5th grade you only take 1. I bet you'll have arocking year in 5th grade if you do your best and follow the rules!!!!!
Fifth graders need to be ready for a whole new ball game. They come in as little 10 and 11 year olds who grow into young men and women. It is imperative that they apply themselves throughout the year and then the students need to learn to become well prepared for independence. Independence in a sense is when the students learn that they do not need their teacher to hold their hands, they just need to learn to believe in themselves! As a teacher, I know I believe in my students from the first day the enter my classroom to infinity beyond that!
It is always fun in fith grade. With the wonderful teachers, fun trips, and great classmates, fith grade is an amazing experience. Make sure you keep on task! If you're not committed to fith grade, it's gonna leave you in the dust! Fith grade is your last year in elementary school. Which is why our school makes it extra special! There are many things fith graders do that other kids can't. There's the Manatee trip, Fith grade fun day, Morning show, Lt. Governor's writing, and much more! Fith grade will be a grade you will never forget!!!
I would start by reading a lot of books during the summer. Fourth Graders. Then get smarter. Get more advice from your parents/guardien. If you go to Mr.Reyes' class. I like Harry Potter I read the whole series I love it! Do good! And get Harry Potter!!!!!!! :D
My advice to upcoming 5th graders is to work hard and do your best at all times. 5th grade is a lot of fun, however, it comes with a lot more responsibilities. This is your last year of elementary school so make it your best. How do you want to be remembered by others?
I say that you should try your hardest and do good!! In 5th grade some classes might be challenging but if they are thats good because you can learn new thangs!! I say dont worry so much about 5th grade that every thang will be alright besides you made it through 4th why not 5th!!! HOPE YOU ENJOY 5TH GRADE THE TEACHERS AND THE MEMORIES!!! I say work hard and turn in your work on time or you either get homework and/or silent lunch and 5 minutes on the fence. I also say relax, 5th grade is fun and easy if you pay attention and listen. We also have fun activities during and at the end of the year.
In fifth grade you will have a great time because you will do lots of fun stuff. You will get to have a fifth grade fun day,a cookout, and lots of other fun things.I thought fifth grade would be hard but its not it a challenge some times but not all the time
Just stay proud and just be your self and trust your teachers!! I say that fifth grade is not hard and you made it through forth grade already why not fifth grade!! And if some fifth grade classes are hard than thats good because it chalenges you and dont forget that nobody is perfect and some people might be better at thangs than you but you might be better at other thangs. So just be excited about comeing to fifth grade!! HOPE YOU ENJOY FIFTH GRADE!! by: Rebekah Hardwick in (Mr. Reyes)
I was
born in New York, but grew up in South Florida. I have been in South
Carolina since 1990. I received my Bachelor's Degree in elementary and
early childhood education from Newberry College. I feel education is very important and continuously take classes to better myself. I just received Master's Degree in Technology in Education through Lesley University. I am
married with two beautiful children. Logan is 13 and Lucas is 7. Logan is
in 7th grade this year! My family resides in Myrtle Beach. This
is my 16th year teaching. I love teaching upper elementary. In our technology
rich world, I intend to open doors for your child that were not available to
us. Learning really can be fun! My favorite subject is Science.
