Well, this is probably a place for your students to respond, but one of the good things about a blog is that the students can also read what others share! I have known a lot of teachers. Miss Martin was my first grade teacher. I loved her handwriting, and the butterscotch candy she gave us for making an A on an assignment. Miss Free was one of the kindest teachers I ever had, until she paddled a boy right in front of my desk. It scared me to death! I think I was quiet for a week! When I grew up, I became a teacher. I taught with Mrs. Richardson when she was a first year teacher. She became my best friend because I saw how she loved her students. I used to call her Super Teacher because she was so dedicated. She inspired me to work harder and teach better.

I can choose any teacher that is my favorite so I'll say a little bit about each of them. At Lakewood Elementary, I had Mrs Norton for Kindergarten. She was always so well understanding. Also 1st grad eat Lakewood Elementary I had Mrs. Rauch for 1st grade. She was so much fun. Starting here at Waccamaw for 2nd grade I had Mrs. Lawrence. She was so nice and fun I learned a lot with her. In 3rd grade I had Mrs. Beeson. She was an awesome teacher. She taught me a lot and that was my first year of pelican with Mrs. Hawks. Mrs. Hawks was so nice and taught me a lot of hard stuff to do. In 4th grade I had Mrs. Luse who totally rocked she was so awesome and Passport to Learning was awesome last year. Also in 4th grade for pelican I had Mrs. Scheafer (I know I spelled it wrong) She was so much fun. In 5th grade I got my first guy teacher Mrs. Reyes he is so fun and can put positive energy in the room. Also for pelican in 5th grade I had Mrs. Richardson. She taught a lot of knew things.

The teachers in this school are what makes it all happen, without them, we would not be the same.

My best teachers are...well every teacher that I ever had, is awsome, nice, and always sometimes teaching me a little above my standard. But, out of all the best teachers that I ever had and will miss the most is...MR.REYES! He teaches us stuff beyond our 5th grade standard. Im going to miss him the most. And I thank Mrs.Dail and Mrs. Ammons for all they have done!

Dear Ciearra,

You will always be close to my heart. I will cherish the letter you wrote me and I have it in my school file at home. I hope you don't mind I showed my sister and husband. They are my strength along with my children. Remember to always be kind and a good listener, have faith in yourself, be self sufficient and that education is power. Remember you told me, "the books are your boyfriend."

I will miss you.

Love,

Mrs. Madray
