- Nicole Richardson
- I was born in New York, but grew up in South Florida. I have been in South Carolina since 1990. I received my Bachelor's Degree in elementary and early childhood education from Newberry College. I feel education is very important and continuously take classes to better myself. I just received Master's Degree in Technology in Education through Lesley University. I am married with two beautiful children. Logan is 13 and Lucas is 7. Logan is in 7th grade this year! My family resides in Myrtle Beach. This is my 16th year teaching. I love teaching upper elementary. In our technology rich world, I intend to open doors for your child that were not available to us. Learning really can be fun! My favorite subject is Science.

I love Diary of A Wimpy Kid because it is interesting and funny. It is a book for boys and girls. There are 3 books in this series.

The book The Best Halloween Ever is a faboulos book about how 9 kids always mess up every thing in town..... you have to read it to find out the rest of the book. the author also wrote the book The Best Christmas Paegant Ever which is also a very fantastic book by Barbra Robinson. Irecomend it for lucas. Luciano
I'm reading a book called half way to the sky. It's about a girl who brother just died and her mom doesn't spend alot of time with her. So Katadin (the girl) decides to run away up the Appalachin trail all the way to Maine to live with her dad cause her parents got a divorce. It's a harsh journey all the way threw the Appalachin trail but you'll have to read to find out if she makes it therw.

I love the book Diary of a wimpy kid RODRICK RULES. It is so funny because it shows Greg Heffley in the bathroom with toilet paper around his. The reason he did that was because in the swimming arean it was 50 degrees farinihite and it was freezen cold. In the end he helps Rodrick out by helping him with his project which was due tommorow and the reason he helped him was because he told a lie about what happened at there grandpa's apartment
I like the diary of a Wimpy Kid because it is funny and crazy.
Hi Mrs.R this is Summer from Miss Carlson's class. I have a pretty good book that your class might enjoy. It is call One Eyed Cat. It is about a boy who, wait if i tell you anything else it will spoil the whole book. It is a very good book and i know that Miss Schafer has it in her room. I have many other choices like The Missing Gator Of Gumbo Limbo, i think Trevor actually read that one. Also there is Deadly Waters which takes place in Florida and is about MANATEES!! This woman and her kids are trying to figure out what is happening the the manatee population, very good book. Talk to you soon!
Summer, I have read The Missing Gator Of Gumbo Limbo and I think it is a great book! I would love to read Deadly Waters since we are going in January to swim with the manatees. Do you have it? Can I borrow it? Mrs. R

I love Freak the Mighty, what a wonderful story....I also think Fantastic Mr. Fox is so very funny.

I love the Percy Jackson and the Olympians series because it is a wonderful mixture of Greek gods, adventure, and modern times.The first book is called The Lightning Thief, the second book The Sea of Monsters, the third book The Titans Curse, the forth book The Battle of the Labyrinth, the fifth book The Last Olympian.There is also different supplements to the series that are also cool.

Christian, I haven't ready any of those yet, but I can't wait to hear all about them. I hope you are having a great summer! My daughter is reading Maggie Bean Stays Afloat and Lucas is reading The Diary of A Wimpy Kid. I just finished My Sister's Keeper. I'm going to see it at the theatre while we are in Florida next week.

I am reading Out of the Dust. It is about a girl during the Dust Bowl who has to survive with just her and her dad since her mom died trying to have a baby(the baby died too).

I am reading a good book called Mein Kampf. I just started it is a book about Hitler's life and childhood he wrote it himself but if you don't love reading like I do then don't try to read the book it is 690 pages long and I am only on page 18!!! I have a long way to go!!!! This is Krysta Shelly!!
My favorite book is Champ. It's about a competing dog and got in a car aacident. The boy ran into the road and the car had to go to a complete stop. The dog lost one leg. The owner said he was useless so the boy adopted him. Together they grow a beautiful relationship. And it leads into others people lives besides the dog and his.

Another book I was reading was Fever 1793. It's about a girl named Matilda(nickname is Mattie) who has to survive the time during Yellow Fever season. Her mom gets Yellow Fever and sends Mattie and her grandfather to the farms where the air is cleaner. Mattie and her grandfather is kicked off on the way to the farm. She then has to walk back to her house. When she gets back her mother isn't there. Is she dead or did she go to the Ludgington's farm. You'll have to read the book to find out. I think this book is VERY interesting and I would TOTALLY recommend it to ya'll!
I am reading the Charlie Bone Series. I like them because they are Mystery books combined with fantasy. They are perfect for 4th and 5th graders.

I am currently reading Alice in Wonderland and Through the Looking Glass(its all in one book) it is very fluently english, so it is hard to understand at times. I never really have seen the first Alice in Wonderland, so once I finish I will watch it and see if it is as good as the book!!! I think it is enjoyable for the "good thinker" because you really have to keep up with what's happening. I have to re-read it sometimes over and over again!!! you have to have all of your attention on this book while you are reading it, or else you will get really lost!!!

I like the percy jackson & the olympians series. I am on the second book and I'm almost done with it.
I like drama books because it is always fun to read and plus you have to find out all of the drama to get the information you need to find put what happened!!!!!
I also like mystery books because they are sometimes scarya nd intresting to me because it is a mystery and you have to find put every mystery!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm reading Diary of Anne Frank it is an awesome book!!!!!!!!!!!!!
